Zellars, Barbara Jean (Cook), 65 on April 4 at her residence in S. Yarmouth. She was the wife of William Earl Zellars. Mrs. Zellars was born in Brockton. She grew up in Whitman and Hingham attending Whitman High School and graduating from Hingham High School. She moved to Yarmouth from the South Shore in 1967. She had been employed by CCB&T, Sentry Bank and NBIS. For the last three years she was manager of Judy’s Place in Harwichport. For many years Mrs. Zellars was very involved in the West Yarmouth Congregational Church teaching Sunday School and as a member of the Women’s Fellowship. She was a former member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed all types of crafts, bingo, travelling and was a computer whiz. Survivors include two daughters, Linda Belli of Harwich and Patricia Shea of S. Dennis, step-sons William E. Zellars Jr. of Harwich and John R. Zellars of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, her parents Kenneth and Dorothy ( Grayson) Cook of S. Yarmouth, a brother Kenneth Cook Jr. of S. Yarmouth, granddaughters; Jennifer J. Cronin of Harwich and Sheryl Erb of S. Dennis, many step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister Loretta (Cook) Quest. A funeral will be held at 11 AM Thursday at the Hallett Funeral Home, 273 Station Ave., S. Yarmouth. Friends and relatives are invited to call on Wednesday from 5 – 7 PM at the funeral home.
