Laurie Judith Payne (Anslow)
Laurie Judith Payne (Anslow), 66 of Dennis died November 11 at Cape Cod Hospital in Hyannis. She was the wife of Harry E. Laurie.
Mrs. Laurie was born in Providence, RI, raised and educated in Rhode Island and was a graduate of Warwick Veterans High School in Warwick RI . Mrs. Laurie worked as the proprietor of Old Harbor Moving and Storage Company from 1971 - 2003. After marrying Harry E. Laurie, they raised their children in Dennis on Cape Cod. Mrs. Laurie was also a special needs school bus aid for the Dennis-Yarmouth Regional School District from 2003-2005.
Mrs. Laurie was a proud member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and was a member of The Order of the Eastern Star. She also enjoyed watching wildlife and birds and loved spending time with her family.
Mrs. Laurie is survived by her husband Harry E. Laurie and 3 sons, David M. Laurie, Michael S. Laurie and Steven H. Laurie all of Dennis as well as two grandchildren Jeffrey and Brianna Laurie and several nieces and nephews in Pompono, FL and Cape Cod. She was also the sister of the late David Anslow
Funeral Services will be private at the request of the family
Interment will be private.
