Chaisson, Alice L. (Arsenault)
Chaisson, Alice L. (Arsenault), 95 of Warren, CT and formerly of Bass River died Monday January 18, 2010 at the Geer Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Canaan, CT.
She was the wife of the late Joseph M. Chaisson who died in 1970.
Born in Boston, Mrs. Chaisson was raised and educated in West Roxbury. After her marriage in 1949, Mrs. Chaisson moved to Cape Cod to raise her family.
Mrs. Chaisson worked for many years as school secretary and office manager for Dennis - Yarmouth Regional High School. She retired in 1978.
She enjoyed traveling with friends and family and she cherished spending time with her four grandchildren. She also loved spending time at the beach and living on Cape Cod.
Mrs. Chaisson is survived by three daughters, Anne Marie Sills and her husband, Jeffrey of Hillsdale, NY Ellen Chaisson of West Palm Beach, FL and Joanne Tiedmann and her husband, Werner of Warren, CT; a sister, Helen Dunlea of Lovell, ME; four grandchildren, Joseph and Helena Tiedmann and Robin and Jordan Sills; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three brothers, Edward, Ernest and Albert Arsenault; and three sisters, Stella Arsenault, Doris Butler and Stella Fosdick.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday Jan. 22 in Saint Pius Tenth Church, Station Ave., South Yarmouth. Interment will follow in Ancient Cemetery, Yarmouthport.
Visiting hours will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday Jan. 21 in the Hallett Funeral Home, 273 Station Ave., South Yarmouth.
