Swett, Marjorie (LLoyd), of Yarmouthport died in her home on Tuesday, January 19, 2010. She was the wife of the late William A. Swett and mother of Carol S. Crouthamel of Centerville, William L. Swett of Sandwich, and Andrea S. Dunlap of Plymouth. She is also survived by six grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Born in Arlington on December 25, 1911, where she grew up, she moved to Winchester after her marriage in 1936. She was a member of the First Congregational Church of Winchester and the Winton Club. In 1961 following her husband’s death she took over his insurance business and ran it successfully until retiring in 1976 and moving to Cape Cod. She was an active member of the Dennis Union Church, the Cape Cod Hospital Aides, the Sturgis Library Book Store and enjoyed the Cape Cod Symphony as well as the Boston Symphony which she attended for over fifty years.
