Paul N. Gonyea, 76, of Yarmouth Port passed away on March 26, 2025. Born in Springfield, MA, he was the son of the late Norbert and Margaret (Fountain) Gonyea of Longmeadow, MA.

Paul was the beloved brother of Peter and his wife Kathleen Gonyea, as well as David and his wife Susan Gonyea. He was predeceased by his brother, Joel Gonyea. Paul was a proud graduate of Minnechaug Regional High School in Wilbraham, MA. He dedicated 49 years of his professional life to the Goodwill.

An avid bowler, Paul found great joy and camaraderie in participating in two bowling leagues. He will be remembered for his kindness and the warmth he shared with everyone around him.

A funeral Mass in Paul’s honor will be held on Wednesday, April 23, 2025 at 1:00 pm at Saint Pius X Church, Station Ave., South Yarmouth. A private burial service will be held at St. Michael’s Cemetery, Springfield, MA.

Uncle Paul was always a pleasure to be with. I loved to see him smile and talk about the past. He will be greatly missed!

Paul was a good soul, made you laugh, made you wonder, made friends easily, he will be truly missed. Our prayers and condolences to the family. Our love Theresa and Steve
