Julianne Marie Maranda, born October 7, 1943, in Worcester, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on May 20, 2025 in Loudon, Tennessee. She was 81 years old.

Julianne was the beloved daughter of Viola and Herve Arsenault and grew up surrounded by a large extended family. She carried the values instilled in her during those early years-faith, love, and devotion to family-throughout her life. A devoted Catholic, Julianne's faith was a guiding force that shaped her deep commitment to family traditions and her unwavering support for those she loved.

She shared many cherished years with her husband, Albert Maranda, with whom she built a life centered around their children and grandchildren. Together they raised a loving family and created a home filled with warmth and laughter. Julianne was predeceased by her husband, Albert, their daughter, Monica Maranda, and son, Phillip Maranda. She also mourned the loss of her parents, Viola and Herve Arsenault, her brother Phillip Arsenault, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Julianne is survived by her children, daughters, Maria Maranda, Martina Nunez, Melissa Maranda, son, Albert Maranda and son-in-law, Joe Hocter. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren, Felicia Shedlosky, Kaitlyn Bears, Kristi Bears, Madison Maranda, Jillian Maranda, and Jordan Maranda, and a great grandson Hunter Shedlosky. She also leaves behind her niece, Michelle Nickens.

To those who knew her best, Julianne was the heart of the family-a devoted mother and grandmother whose love knew no bounds. She often said that the birth of each child and grandchild changed her life for the better. That sentiment was felt deeply by all who received her unconditional love and support.

Julianne had an infectious spirit that lit up every room she entered. She loved to dance and never missed an opportunity to move to the music she adored-especially anything by Elvis Presley. Her joy for life was matched only by her dedication to those she held dear. Her memory will live on in the traditions she upheld so faithfully and in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to be part of her life.

May Julianne's enduring love continue to bring comfort to those who knew her. A Funeral Mass will be held, in her honor, Saturday August 16, 2025 at 11AM in St. Pius X Church, Station Ave., South Yarmouth. Burial will follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery, Route 134, South Dennis, where she will be buried with her husband, Albert.

As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
