 Thomas J. Martin Jr. of Yarmouth Port, MA passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, August 14, 2021. He was the dear husband of Janice C. (McLaughlin) Martin with whom he shared 54 years of blissful marriage.

 

In addition to his wife, Janice, Tom is survived by his son, Thomas “Tee” J. Martin III and his wife, Colleen. His five grandchildren, Alainah Dowding and her husband, James, Kaityn Martin, Duffy Martin, Thomas J. Martin IV, and Judge Martin were lucky enough to call Tom their “Papa”.  Tom also adored his three great grandchildren, Addilyn and Blaine Dowding and Khloe Martin.

 

Tom’s nieces and their families, Jennifer Curtis and her husband, Jared and their children, Samantha and Madilyn, and Nikki Guyton and her husband, Frank and their children, Avery Gail, Ben and Henry love and remember him.

 

He was predeceased by his brother, Richard B. Martin.

 

There will be a private graveside service at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne, MA where Tom will be laid to rest. A celebration of his life will be held in the summer of 2022. Those wishing to attend please contact teeballgolf@gmail.com.

Dear Janice; So sorry to hear of Tom's passing. Our not to frequent meetings around town, I did not know that he was ill. So just wanted you to know my thought are with you. I always had a wonderful time talking to Tom, he truly was a character, and his fondness for Paul showed through, Remember the good times- they will always be with you, Sincerely Carol

Janice I am so sorry for your loss. I had no idea how many wonderful grandchildren you were blessed with and greats as well. George loved him so and he was wonderful with him. Hopefully they are on the 16th and under par together
