Benito “Poochie” A. Rodriguez 68 of Albany, NY and South Yarmouth, MA died unexpectedly Tuesday September 21, 2021 at Cape Cod Hospital in Hyannis, MA.

A cherished letter Benny gave to his Christina describes their relationship perfectly: “Our love is forever. There’s nothing I would rather do than live my life in love with you. The fun that being with you brings, our memories made of little things. The talks we have, the jokes we share, the hugs, the kisses here and there. What better reason could there be, to spend forever, you with me.”

In addition to his wife, Benny is survived by his special fur babies, Bailey and Macy; his much loved and adored mommy, Antonia Rodriguez; three brothers, Joshua and his wife, Gail, Jony Mercado, and Rigo and his husband, Ozzy; his mother in-law, Doreen Wright and her husband, Harvey; cousins, Lesbia Sanchez and Dr. Luis Sanchez; and several other special aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. I will miss you Benny and will remember the great times we had. The motorcycle ride through Albany, the crazy dancing. You are a special person and you made the world a better place. I will take care of my best friend Christine and my heart aches for her. May you Rest In Peace.
