Mary (Frost) Rolanti, 73, of Dennis Port passed away peacefully at home on November 30, 2021, with her beloved family by her side, after a courageous battle with Progressive Supranuclear Palsy. Penny, as she was affectionately known, was born in Brighton, MA to Paul and Josephine (Sullivan) Frost.

She graduated from Framingham State University with a B.S. in Early Education and later in life she attended Johnson & Wales,  earning a degree in Culinary Arts. She loved to cook for friends and family. Penny was an avid traveler and toured Europe and Asia with her husband and enjoyed family camping trips along the east coast of the United States.

Penny is survived by her husband of 51 years, Robert, her sons, David and his wife, Geani of Martha’s Vineyard, Michael and his wife, Katie of St. Louis and her daughter, Roberta and her husband, David of Yarmouth Port. She has two granddaughters, Lauren and Victoria and one great grandson, Damien. She is also survived by many nephews, nieces, and cousins. Penny is predeceased by her sisters, Joan, Eleanor and Patricia, and brother, Paul.

Her easy laughter, hilarious sense of humor, amazing food, sharp wit, and teachings will be missed by all who knew her.

Contributions in her memory may be made to VNA Hospice of Cape Cod or Cure PSP Foundation at www.psp.org.

Services will be private.  The family encourages anyone who knew Penny to leave a message, or a heartwarming or funny story in remembrance to keep her spirit alive in all who knew her.

My deepest condolences to Bob, David, Michael and Roberta. I will always remember Penny for the sharp wit, great conversation about cooking and baking as well as a mutual love of cats. Ill remember her fondness of baking and how happy it made her to bake and cook for others, including the most delicious German Chocolate cake she made for one of my birthdays! Thank you for making me feel like apart of your family always. Thinking of you all and sending all my love. Deanna
