Edward H. Mann "Ted"

Edward H. Mann “Ted” of Brewster, MA passed away November 18, 2015 after
a lengthy illness at the age of 52.  Ted had lived at Epoch Assisted living at Brewster Place from 2008 to the present.
 
He was born in Boston, MA on September 30, 1963 to the late Edward C. and Barbara A. Mann , formerly of Lexington and Yarmouthport, MA. In addition
to his parents he was predeceased by his sister, Helen F. (Mann) Dustin,
of Lyman, Maine.

Ted is survived by  his sister, Barbara Hagman of Dover, NH; three nephews, Douglas Hagman,
Michael Hagman and his wife, Jennifer, all of Dover, NH, and Brian Kozuszek and his wife, Dorrie, of Maine,
as well as one niece, Angela Mcewen and her husband, Raymond, of Biddeford, Maine, five great nephews and one great niece.
 
Ted grew up in Lexington, graduating from Lexington High School in 1983.  He attended Middlesex Community College, graduating with an Associate’s Degree
in Computer Programming in 1987. While living in Lexington, he was a member of the First Baptist Church.  He joined Battle Green Chapter, Order of DeMolay and then joined Simon W. Robinson Lodge of the Masonic Order.
 
In 1987 Ted moved to Yarmouthport, MA and worked for several Stop & Shop stores until his health issues caused him to retire.  He was active in the local Masonic fraternity becoming a member of Mt. Horeb Lodge in South Dennis, MA.
 
In 2008 Ted moved to the Epoch Assisted Living at Brewster Place.  He made many friends and enjoyed the “Grand Friends” group and the Writing Club.  He also helped with collecting clothes and diapers for the Baby Center.  After many hospitalizations, Ted transferred to the Epoch Senior Living of Brewster with the additional loving care of the Broad Reach Hospice of North Chatham.
 
Friends and relatives are invited to call at the Hallett Funeral Home, 273 Station Ave., South Yarmouth, MA on Sunday, November 22, 2015 from 1:00 to 3:00 P.M. with a Masonic Service to be held at 3:00 P.M.  A graveside service will be held on Monday, November 23 at 1:30 P.M. in the Westview Cemetery in Lexington, MA.
 
In lieu of flowers, Ted’s wishes were for contributions to the “Angel Fund” for needy children and families, c/o Mt. Horeb Lodge, P. O.
