Rodger H. Morse, 85 of Tucson, AZ and formerly of Mashpee died peacefully Wednesday December 22, 2021 in Tucson.

He was the husband of the late Jayne (Kernan) Morse.

Born in Norwood, Rodger was raised and educated in Plainville. He graduated from Plainville High School and Tilton Academy.  As a child, Rodger spent his summers in Harwich, with his beloved parents, the late Harvey and Mildred (Breen) Morse.

Upon his graduation from high school, Rodger enlisted in the U.S. Navy, where he served for two years.

After his military service, Rodger moved to Walnut Creek, CA and started his family. He was a member of the San Ramon Valley Masonic Lodge and served as Master in 1976.

In 1979, Rodger moved to Centerville, where he started Osterville Corners Reality. In the late 1980’s, Rodger was elected as the Prudential Committee President of the Centerville-Osterville-Marstons Mills Fire and Rescue. He continued his realtor career in Long Boat Key, FL. In later years, Rodger retired to Cape Cod.

Rodger enjoyed spending time with his late wife, Jayne Morse, his family and traveling. He was an avid golfer and a lover of all animals.

Rodger is survived by a daughter, Cathy Morse of Tucson, AZ; two sons, Rick Morse of Tucson, AZ and Charles Morse of West Barnstable; six grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be private.

So sorry to read this. My deepest sympathy to his family. Rodger was a dear cousin and friend when we were growing up in Plainville. I will miss him even though we lost touch in the last few years.
