Harwich- Jason J. “Skip” Narkon, 46, of Harwich passed away at home surrounded by family on January 19, 2022, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born in Hartford, CT, Jason was the son of the late William and Judith (Guay) Narkon. He moved to Cape Cod with his family in 1981, after having vacationed here for many years.

Upon graduating high school, Jason pursued his passion in Ecological Design. He specialized in native landscapes, perennial beds, wildflower meadows and custom garden designs.

Jason possessed the ultimate green thumb and found comfort spending time in his greenhouse. As a nature lover, his knowledge of plants, flowers, trees, and birds was extensive.

He enjoyed working with his lathe creating various handcrafted wood designs. He frequently incorporated shells, seaglass, coins and driftwood as part of his technique.

Jason was happiest when vacationing in Jamaica with his family, especially while spending time at Frenchman’s Cove. His proudest achievement is his family and the unconditional love that he shared with them.

In addition to his wife, Heather, Jason is survived by his children, Mila and Elijah, a sister, Hannah, nieces Jaida, Avery, Evan and Amelia, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, February 5th at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Cape Church, 468 Stony Brook Rd, Brewster, MA 02631.

I am grateful for memories of Jason as a baby and child. My family's prayers are with his wife, kids, his older sister, and neice at this time. We are all sorry for your loss.
