Christopher D. Dodge 41 of West Yarmouth died Tuesday December 8, 2015.

He was the son of Daniel D. and Anne M. (Fontneau) Dodge, and the fiancé of Katheryn Eaton, all of West Yarmouth. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Born in Wareham, Chris was raised and educated in Centerville, Provincetown and Nantucket. He was a 1992 graduate of Barnstable High School, where he played saxophone in the marching band and was an assistant volleyball coach for the Special Olympics. In 1990 he took part in a trip to Russia under the People to People Youth Exchange Science Program.

Chris worked for several years as an independent courier and also worked as a courier for Airborne Express and Cape Allied Transit. For the last few years, Chris was a driver for Ring Brothers Fruit and Produce delivering to local restaurants and stores.

An avid Bruins and Patriots Fan, Chris enjoyed playing golf, bowling and billiards. As an organ donor, his spirit will live on.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday December 15 in Saint Pius X Church, Station Ave., South Yarmouth.

Interment will follow in Saint Francis Xavier Cemetery, Pine St., Centerville.

Visiting hours will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday December 14 in the Hallett Funeral Home, 273 Station Ave., South Yarmouth.

As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Vincent DePaul Society, 5 Barbara St., South Yarmouth, MA 02664.

Christopher you were taken much to soon. I will never forget the chuckles in BHS marching band. You always had a smile and an open heart. Your family is in my prayers. You are home with the Lord, Rest In Peace my friend. An angel to forever watch over your loved ones. God Bless.

Anne and Daniel. I am so in shock! I can't even imagine the horrific pain. I can't imagine losing a son or daughter. This is horrible. Please know that I am crying as I write this to you.
