Beverly Hankinson, 90, of West Yarmouth, passed away peacefully on August 5, 2022, of a chronic illness.

She is survived by her daughters, Lynn and her husband Joe Rogers of Myrtle Beach, SC, and Leigh and her husband Joe Toth of New Bern, NC. She is also survived by her sister, Susan Womble, of Brandon, FL, grandson Ryan Agnew of Vestal, NY, several nieces and nephews, and many friends. She is predeceased by her husband, Walter, and her parents, Keene and Ethel Brown.

Beverly was a very active member of both St. David’s Episcopal Church and the Garden Club of So. Yarmouth. She was born in Ithaca, NY, and graduated from Ithaca High School. She was employed by the NY Telephone Co. before becoming a homemaker. She and Walt raised their family in Endicott, NY, then relocated to Cape Cod to spend their retirement years sailing and at the beach. Beverly had the unique gift of making friends wherever she went. She will be greatly missed!

A funeral service will take place at St. David’s Episcopal Church, 205 Old Main St., South Yarmouth, on Monday, October 3, 2022, at 11:00 a.m., with inurnment following in the columbarium.
