Henry M. Barry, Jr., age 86 of Brockton passed away on October 23, 2022.  He was born in Brockton, the son of Rose Petronelli Clark and Henry M Barry, Sr.  He was a graduate of Brockton High School, received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Northeastern University and was a long-time real estate investor in Brockton, Buzzards Bay, and Cape Cod before retiring to Uruguay.  Hank enjoyed boxing, as a fan, and thoroughbred racing, as a horse owner with his brother Donny.  His favorite time/place was “early in the morning at the racetrack when they were working the horses.”

His favorite saying was “And think not you can direct the course of love, for love, if it finds you worthy, directs your course.”

Henry was a kind and generous guy, always there for those in need. He was welcomed and loved by so many in his second country of Uruguay, spreading good health, good vibes and good humor, to all who were inclined to receive his wisdom. Anabel is of the same joyful character and I'm sure her loving care and attention extended his life and gave him much happiness. We wish we lived closer and could be together more often, but we were happy for all the good times we shared. Looking forward to when we meet again, just hopefully not too soon. Besos, amigo!
