Patricia C. McInerney, 71, passed away peacefully in her home, surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, December 22, 2015. She was pre-deceased by her husband, Thomas M. McInerney in 2005.
 
Mrs. McInerney was born in Long Island, NY and grew up in Elmira, NY, graduating from Notre Dame High School and Elmira College. She then moved to Boston in 1967, where she enjoyed the challenge of the financial industry among several brokerage firms. In 1976, she fulfilled a lifelong dream of moving to New York City, where she held the position of Senior Vice President at the Bank of New York, before retiring to South Yarmouth with her husband. Patricia thoroughly enjoyed the theater, arts, history, reading, gardening, swimming, cooking, walking, and visiting many countries around the world. 

She is survived by her sisters and brothers-in-law, Nancy A. Henry and James W. Henry of Andover, MA; Joan D. Trifoso and Mark A. Trifoso of Elmira, NY, her brother and sister-in-law, Charles F. Dimon and Virginia A. Dimon of Nashville, Tennessee, nieces Sarah C. Henry of North Andover, MA, Catherine L.Trifoso of Elmira, NY, and Jennifer A. Henry of Cambridge, MA.

Friends and relatives are invited to call at the Hallett Funeral Home, 273 Station Ave., South Yarmouth, MA on Sunday, December 27, 2015 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.  A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00AM on Monday, December 28, 2015 at St. Pius X Church, Station Ave., South Yarmouth, MA.  Burial will be private for family members.
 
In lieu of flowers contributions in her memory may be made to Hope Hospice, 765 Attucks Lane, Hyannis, MA 02601.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I know Pat will be dearly missed; she was a special lady and it was a pleasure knowing her.

Sincere condolences to Pat's family. My parents, the Handsakers, lived next door on Capt. York for many years. In recent years Pat and I enjoyed lunches together. I will miss her enthusiasm and great smile. A lovely woman gone way too soon!

Pat was a great friend and neighbor she was a wonderful neighbor to my parents Fred and Theresa Bogar also. I will miss her and my dog Lucy will also but I have many fond memories over the years. Rest in peace my friend. Peter Bogar
