Lawrence “Larry” Milesky of Brewster, Massachusetts passed away peacefully on May 27th, surrounded by his loving family.

Larry was born on August 7, 1949 in Newton, Massachusetts to parents William Milesky and Gladys (Walter) Milesky. After attending Newton North High School Larry became a proud Ohio Bobcat, obtaining a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications from Ohio University. He went on to enjoy a long and successful career in radio advertising where colleagues and clients recognized his warmth, humor, integrity and incredible work ethic. At the time of his death Larry was a Radio Marketing Consultant for Coxswain Media.

Larry met his loving wife, Kerin (Schweiger) Milesky in 1988 and went on to enjoy 33 years of family, travel, beach walks, and football Sundays together. Larry loved living on Cape Cod and could often be found having coffee at Sesuit Harbor, watching the sunset at Cold Storage Beach, or holding court from his beach chair with Steve, Chris, Chet, Shelly, and Kerin at Mants Landing. He adored annual trips to Akumal, Mexico having been there last in March.

A beloved father, Larry is survived by Kerin and their loving children: son Zac Milesky (fiance Shannon Mackinnon); daughter Jordan Milesky (fiance Sean McAllister); and son Alec Milesky. Larry was adored by his late brother Richard Milesky and wife Marci, and will be sorely missed by sisters-in-law Chris (Schweiger) Gallant and Cathy (Schweiger) Kellinger, and many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the incredible care teams at the Massachusetts General Hospital including those on the Blake 7 MICU, the palliative care program, the MGH Cancer Center, and Dr Jeffrey Clark. A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to Voices of Hope to benefit the MGH Cancer Center, where Larry received the utmost compassionate and professional care. Donations can be sent by Venmo to @VOHBoston, through their website at www.VOHBoston.org, or via check to Voices of Hope, 171 Park Street, Stoneham, MA 02180.

Kerin, Zach,Alec and Jordan- there are no words that can fully express my sadness over the loss of an amazing man, Larry. In his 74 years, he created bonds with so many people with humor, sensitivity and kindness. My heart is especially sad since we recently connected again and wished for more time. Knowing that his life was full with family and devoted friends helps to ease the loss. He will be forever be Lar, a dear friend of mine

Larry was such a nice guy and a great sales rep.! He trained me when I originally came down to Rhode Island to work in the radio business in my 20's. We had many lunches and car rides together as we went from client to client and he showed me the ropes. His family was always welcoming and kind to all of us here at WCRI. Larry will be missed and I am truly glad to say that I knew him. Our thoughts are with Kerin and the rest of his family. With Love from all of us at WCRI.

This weekend, with great sadness, I learned of Larry's passing. I had the pleasure of working with Larry during his involvement in Rhode Island with WCRI. Larry handled our advertising account with the radio station. It didn't take long for Larry to earn my respect for his handling of our account and I looked forward to our monthly meetings to update our script. Larry established us as a regular client of WCRI and that was achieved due to Larry's performance and Larry as a person. Larry honestly cared which meant so much. He wanted us to be pleased with what was being aired, that it was always up to date and "fresh". I feel very fortunate to have met and to have shared time with Larry. Respect and fondness, a great combination. I offer my sincere condolences to his family and will always remember Larry with respect and fondness.

I had the absolute pleasure of working with Larry for the last 9 years. Every Friday at 5pm, like clockwork, he would text me- "Make us proud out there Jules!" And I'd tell him I'd do my best! He was so thoughtful and funny and it was always the perfect start to my weekend. My deepest condolences to Kerin and his family and everyone who knew him. He will be terribly missed.

Larry was a good Man. He would always listen. He was not ‘Fake’ in any way. He was genuine. He cared. He had a great sense of humor. And, when he laughed, it was a real, honest, genuine laugh. When he really thought something was funny, he always leaned forward and bent down slightly, as he was laughing. That’s how you knew he got a kick out of what was being said. He always went above, and beyond, the call of duty. Larry, you will be missed. God Bless.

Larry was one-of-a-kind who always embraced the moment, lived his passions, and laughed at adversity. Life has lost its sparkle a bit, but we can all take comfort for having had him in our lives -- remembering the warmth of his cordial smile and relishing his quick wit. In the night sky, we now have a new shining star to light our way. Rest in peace, my friend.
