Anne Van Rensselaer Tremper Hall Eastham, MA July 31, 1927- May 25, 2023 Anne Hall was born and raised in Albany, NY where she attended the Albany Girls Academy. She met her late husband of sixty-one years, Howard “Budge” Hall, on a blind date in Boston while she attended Wheelock College. Ironically, both were born in Albany, NY five years apart.

Former owners of the Southfleet Motor Inn and Restaurant in South Wellfleet, she was known as the ‘General’ to her help.

During her retirement she enjoyed relaxing at her home and entertaining her friends and family, working at the Chocolate Sparrow in Eastham with the ladies, ‘Honey Do’ Day with Budge on Thursdays, Stitch and Bitch, the shows at The Cape Playhouse, bridge club and game shows. She was also an active member in the Cape Cod Wheelock Alumni Group.

She is survived by son Stephen (Susan) Hall of Fernandina Beach, FL; son Peter (Diane) Hall of Eastham, son John Hall of Natick, daughter Jane Lynch of Natick; daughter Susan (Kevin) Heinz of Eastham.

Also survived by grandchildren Ben and Erin Hall, their children Max and Avery; Matt Hall, Elizabeth Hall; Annie Hall, Jack Hall and Ellie Hall; Conor Lynch and Allie Polfer and their daughter, Callaghan Lynch; Deklan, Brady and Maguire Heinz.

Anne will be interred with Budge (1922-2010) in Albany, NY at a later date.

A celebration of Mom’s life will be held at Van Rensselaer’s Restaurant, 1019 Route 6, Wellfleet, MA on Sunday, June 11 between 1-3 pm.
