Li-Jen "Adam" Ting

TING – Li-Jen “Adam” 65 of East Sandwich died Thursday April 21, 2016 at South Shore Hospital in Weymouth, surrounded by his loving family.

He was the husband of Anastasia (Kolosky) Ting for 35 years.

Born and raised in Taiwan, Adam was the youngest of eleven children born to the late Ray-Wu and Jo-Hui (Hong) Ting.

Adam enjoyed traveling and spending time with his family. Some of his favorite activities included playing tennis and basketball, coaching his children’s baseball and softball teams, and enjoying quiet time with his wife. He also enjoyed listening to music, especially Johnny Cash, Roy Orbison, and Connie Francis, and watching James Bond and other action movies. Most importantly, all who knew him will remember that helping others and making people laugh brought him much joy.

In addition to his wife, Adam is survived by two sons, Aaron Ting and his wife, Cara of Northborough and Justin Ting and his fiancé, Melissa of East Sandwich; two daughters, Sarah Arias and her husband, Mario of Holbrook and Amanda Ting and her boyfriend, Andrew of Amesbury; one granddaughter, Hazel; three brothers; five sisters; and many loving extended family members. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother and a sister.

Visiting hours will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday April 30 in the Hallett Funeral Home, 273 Station Ave., South Yarmouth.

Interment will be private.

As a survivor of a traumatic brain injury for the last five years, memorial donations in Adam’s name may be made to the Brain Injury Association of your choice.
