Donna Mae (Huntress) Trabucco 76 of Yarmouth Port, passed away on Tuesday July 26, 2016 with her beloved husband, of 57 years, Joseph at her side.

Donna was born in Kezar Falls, Maine and attended Porter High School, graduating with honors. After attending college, Donna married Joseph Trabucco, a Sergeant Major in the United States Army Chorus. Together, they built a life in Washington, D.C. Donna and Joseph moved to Yarmouth Port in 1988 upon his distinguished retirement from the Army.

Donna threw her boundless energy and effusive spirit into the support of her family and children. She was a talented gardener and seamstress and cherished time on the Cape with her children and eight grandchildren.

She will be fondly remembered by her family and the countless friends who were fortunate enough to know her for her dry, “Down East” humor. She was a compassionate, kind, and creative human being who led and inspired others through quiet example.

In addition to her loving and devoted husband, Donna is survived by two sons, Joseph and his wife, Linda of Chester Springs, PA and their children Cara, Joseph, and Paul, and Stephen and his wife, Elise of Charlotte, NC, and their children Jack and Georgia; and a daughter, Linda of Denver, CO and her daughters Collene, Katherine, and Elizabeth.

Service and burial arrangements at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne will be held at a later date.

As an expression of sympathy, Donna’s life can be remembered and celebrated through donations made to the Porter High School Association, P.O. Box 214, Parsonsfield, ME 04047.
