Joseph "Moe" Levesque, 94, of South Yarmouth, Mass, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on March 13, 2017. Moe is survived by his wife, Jeannine of 71 years, son Daniel, daughter Susan and her husband Michael Remmey, he was preceded in death by his oldest daughter Anita Gransich and sisters, Toni, Jane, Betty and Lou. He leaves two sisters, Theresa Orvis, and Helen & Floyd Montgomery. He leaves his grandchildren, Danica & Mischa Gransich, Brian & Kate Remmey, Steven Remmey, Jeannine & Brian Wadman, Kim & Peter Thompson, Joey Levesque, ten great grandchildren, Ava, Hannah and Austin Remmey, Kayla & Gage Remmey, Jacob, Morgan & Dylan Thompson. Evan & Averi Wadman. He leaves many nieces and nephews, extended family and friends whom he often remembered with loving stories. Moe was a loving father, husband, grandfather, uncle, mentor and friend. Moe proudly served his country during World War II in the Army Air Corp. Upon his return from the war Moe married Jeannine. Moe was proud to be a union carpenter in Carpenters Local 43 for many years in Hartford until his retirement when he and his wife began flipping houses (before it was popular) in Florida and Cape Cod. In his early years, he enjoyed hunting and camping with family. In his later years he enjoyed cooking, fishing and boating, shell fishing or anything that was near or on the ocean. He will be missed and loved forever by his family especially his constant companion, his Chihuahua Timmy. A special “thank you” goes out to the Broad Reach Hospice & Palliative of Chatham, especially Lucy, Theresa, Robin & Jean For their loving care and support during this difficult time. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, March 31, at 10am in the St. Pius X Church, Station Ave, South Yarmouth, MA In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O.
