Nancy (Fallon) Mesmer of South Yarmouth, MA and formerly of Manchester, NH passed away peacefully early July 3, surrounded by family at the home of her daughter, Sheila, who cared for her over the years and through her last illness.

Nancy graduated from Sacred Heart High School in Newton, MA in 1945, attended Edgewood Park Junior College in Briar Cliff Manor, NY, and earned an Associate's Degree in Office Management from Endicott College of Beverly, MA in 1949.

She married Frank Bernard Mesmer in 1952. In addition to her sister,Nancy is survived by her five children: Frank Mesmer and his wife Carollee of Manchester, NH,  Sheila (Mesmer) Smith of South Yarmouth, MA,  Karen Mesmer and her partner Kathy Donahue Son of Kennebunk, ME, Christopher Mesmer, of Cummington, MA,  and  Gregory Mesmer and his wife Sue (Kruesser) Mesmer of North Reading, MA, and grandchildren: Josh, Eric, Griffin and his wife Annie, and Irina Mesmer, Weston Smith and his wife, Claudia, and their children, Vivian and Bennett, and Scottie Smith, and Oliver and Justin Mesmer.

Nancy was a dedicated and nurturing mother who enjoyed spending summers with her family in Osterville and West Dennis on Cape Cod. She was an avid golfer, a sought-after bridge player, and a terrific singer who, with her family, would sing songs full of harmony around the table in beautiful voices for hours. After moving from NH to Cape Cod, Nancy worked as a home health aide for an elderly couple and volunteered at the Yarmouth Town Hall. She was a master of the daily crossword puzzle and Jumble, and a champion of every kind of word and table game. Friends and family meant everything to Nancy and she loved a good reason to laugh. Nancy had so many wonderful years and gave us all something to smile about.  We will miss her so much.

Family and friends are invited to attend a funeral Mass on July 22, 2017 at 10:am at Saint. Pius X Church, Station Ave., South Yarmouth, MA.
