Elaine Martin, 91, of South Yarmouth, died peacefully with her family at her side on March 26, 2018, at Emerson Hospital, in Concord, MA. Elaine and her late husband George moved from West Hartford, Connecticut to Yarmouth Port, Massachusetts in 1980 following his retirement from Nabisco. Elaine was a communicant at St. Pius X Church and a member of the Yarmouth Garden Club. She enjoyed bridge, golf, painting, and entertaining their wide circle of friends and family. Elaine was thankful to be able to spend her last four years in the beautiful retirement community of Thirwood Place in South Yarmouth, with caring staff and many new friends. Elaine was predeceased by her husband, George, and her grandson, Keith Orzech. She is survived by her two daughters, Andrea Orzech and her husband Michael of Sudbury, MA; Marcy Schweizer and her husband John of Niantic, CT; three grandsons, Paul Orzech and his wife Corynne, Thomas and Joseph Schweizer; and her two great grandchildren who always brought a smile to her face, Benjamin and Adelyn Orzech. She is also survived by her brother, Philip LaLiberte. Elaine exemplified beauty, grace, and goodness, with a wonderful sense of humor. She saw the positive in everything and everyone she met. She will be greatly missed. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday April 4, 2018, at St. Pius X Church Station Ave, South Yarmouth, MA. Burial will be private.

Andrea and Marcy...Betty Holmes introduced me to your mother and father when they came to Cape Cod and I had the pleasure of helping them locate their home in Yarmouthport through Davenport Realty. I stayed in touch with them throughout the years and must say how fortunate you are to have had them as parents. I am unable to attend Elaine's services tomorrow but send my condolences to you and your families. She was as lovely on the inside as she was on the outside. Always, Lolly (MaryAlice) Warner
