Mary L. (Clancy) Barnes 78 of North Eastham died peacefully Sunday November 25, 2018 surrounded by her family at Cape Cod Hospital in Hyannis.

She was the wife of the late Wallis R. Barnes.

Mary was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes parish. She loved babies, dogs, geraniums, scrabble, sweet food and people, and most of all, her husband, children and grandchildren.

She is survived by two daughters, Maureen Gilreath of Waltham, and Theresa Barnes of North Eastham; two sons, James of Harwich, and William of North Attleboro; a step-daughter, Brenda Barnes of Meriden, CT; four grandchildren, Leah Gilreath of Waltham, Olivia and William Wallis Barnes, both of North Attleboro, and Michelle Ardzinski of Doylestown, PA; and one great granddaughter, Abigail Ardzinski of Doylestown, PA. In addition to her husband, and parents, Mary was predeceased by her first husband, Michael Long, a daughter, Kathleen Long, and a step-daughter, Elizabeth Barnes.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday Dec. 7 in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 2282 State Highway (Rte. 6), Wellfleet, MA 02667.
