Nine grandchildren, Stephen, Cassidy, Meaghan, Sean, Henry, David, Lilly, Phoebe, and Chase; three great grandchildren, Charlee, Oliver and Zachery. In addition to his parents, Kit was predeceased by his brother, Jon and his wife, Georgianna, and his brother in-law, Robert Shallow. He will be greatly missed by all.

The family would like to express their gratitude to all that took care of Kit during the latter part of his life, especially the Visiting Nurse Association of Cape Cod, and the staff of Mugar 3rd Floor at Cape Cod Hospital.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday October 15 in Chandler Gray Cemetery, 161 Old Mill Way, West Yarmouth.

My fondest thoughts to all in Kit's family. I remember him from our days at YHS and his super sense of humor in making every situation one with laughter. The memories come flooding back of our years there and the fun we had. Kit was always in the middle of activities, keeping spirits high. I'm sorry that I lost friendship but now hope that the memories he left behind will sustain his spirits in your hearts. My prayers are for you now that he is at rest and you carry on with his legacy to share for generations to come. God bless all of you. Jeannette (Sears) Wood

Our sincere condolences in the loss of your loved one. We came to know Kip as a friend and neighbor. It was my privilege to talk with Kit on occasion concerning His need for Jesus Christ and the salvation He provides for anyone who believes the Word of God and receives Him by faith. John 3:16

Kit was a good friend. He worked with Frank Davis and Joe King for a long time. They kept him on the ground so that he wouldn't fall off the ladder. He loved working with them and they had a great friendship for many years. When we moved back to the Cape he was along with Frank painting the walls and woodwork for us. Never a complaint. Always said that I was a saint to put up with Frankie. He will be sorely missed by many.
