RIP Bronco! As the Cape Cod Cubs radio broadcaster I so much enjoyed working with you, riding the bus with you, and that exciting first season in the new Cape Cod Coliseum! Later I covered your Dennis-Yarmouth high school teams as well. Learned so much about hockey from you and we had fun. I’ll never forgot those days and my association with Bronco Jon Wetterlow Ft. Condolences to the family!! He played in Welland several times as a youngster. When he came back to play in some 'make-up' game/exhibition game with his brothers, he ended up giving me his stick which was cherished by me for a long time - it didn't make anywhere near as good but… He'll be missed.

I began watching hockey on TV in the Fall of 1958, here in Southern New England. WHO could forget a name like "Bronco"? I surely never did! RIP, Bronco.

So Sorry for you loss, I am glad I was able to finally meet him in person after doing his taxes at the senior center for past few years. I remember him on the Bruins from my youth, hockey has lost a great player and now he will skate with all the other greats who have gone before him.
