She enjoyed living by the beach on Cape Cod and traveling south for many winters to her second beach home in Naples, FL. Anne especially enjoyed participating in the Women’s 9 Hole Group at Cummaquid Golf Club in Yarmouth Port. She was an active lifelong member of the Catholic Church.

To the Family of Anne Berard: The world was a better place because of Anne. She was one of the most generous and kind women I've ever met. And she seemed to bring out the best in others. She was also an extremely dedicated and intelligent women who never sought recognition for her hard work--she would problem solve, go the last mile, and get the job done. Anne and Leo contributed generously to their family and community and were both models to me of what it means to be individuals of the highest integrity. And lastly, Anne and Leo often talked about their family and the great joy they had experienced with their children and grandchildren. I will be thinking of you all on this day.
