Mark A. “Skip” Robinson 58 of Yarmouth Port passed away in the comfort of the beautiful home he built, surrounded by his family, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.

Mark was born at Cape Cod Hospital to the late Thomas and Virginia Robinson. He was raised and educated in Yarmouth and graduated from Dennis Yarmouth Regional High School in 1979. He then attended the University of Southern Maine.

Mentored by his father-in-law in the building trades, Mark’s greatest accomplishments were building his own homes.

Mark enjoyed golfing, fishing, watching sports, listening to his tunes and most importantly spending time with family and many friends. He loved the sun and sand on Mayflower Beach and Ft. Myers Beach with his wife. You would always know when Skip was around by hearing his boisterous and infectious laugh.

Mark is survived by his high school sweetheart and beloved wife of 30 years, Deanne (White) Robinson. He is also survived by his cousin Justin “Cuz” Read, who he held dear to his heart; his three sisters, Beverly Poirier and her husband, Michael, Sara Humiston and her husband, Richard, and Melissa Dell’Erario; his sister-in-law, Deborah Fanara; his nieces, Rebecca Maguire and her husband, Chad, Nicole Poirier, and Kelcey and Mallory Fanara; his nephews, Richard Humiston and his wife, Emily, Thomas Dell’Erario, and Nathaniel Fanara; and his mother-in-law Janet L. White. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a niece, Alexandra Humiston; his father-in-law, Forrest E. White; and brothers-in-law, John P. Fanara, Jr. and Nick Dell’Erario.

A graveside service was held on Wednesday April 22, 2020 in Ancient Cemetery, Yarmouth Port. A memorial service and celebration of Mark’s life will be announced at a later date.

As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, 1500 Rosecrans Ave., Suite 200, Manhattan Beach, CA 90266, www.pancan.org/donate, or to the MSPCA, 1577 Falmouth Rd., Centerville, MA 02632, www.mspca.org.
