Patricia Seyffert (Small) 87 of Centerville and formerly of Yarmouth Port died peacefully Sunday April 19, 2020 at Harbor Point in Centerville from natural causes.

She was the wife of the late John Andrew Seyffert, who died in 2008. They had been married for 49 years.

Born in Brentwood, NH, Pat was the eldest of three children born to the late Robert and Blanche (Marcotte) Small. She graduated from Orange High School in Orange, MA and began working in a local bank service department. Within several years, Pat met her future husband, John and they married in 1958. After raising their five children in Yorktown Heights NY, they moved to Yarmouth Port in 1985, fulfilling their life-time dream of living on Cape Cod.

She lived a simple and beautiful life and will be remembered for her great sense of humor, and for her kind and gentle nature. She was a loving and devoted wife and mother and a devout catholic. She also loved the beaches of Cape Cod and Bermuda, her cats, taking walks, baking, and writing cards and letters.

Pat is survived by five children, Anne Seyffert and her partner, David Atnally of Media PA, Steven Seyffert and his partner, Alicia Miller of Aspen CO, James Seyffert of Wappingers Falls NY, Carol Page and her husband, Richard of Summerville SC, and Janet Green and her husband, Timothy of Centerville; a sister Carole Kirby and her husband, Robert of Manchester, CT; a sister-in-law, Louise Small; seven grandchildren, Jessie Prawlucki Styer and her husband, Lee, Jason Prawlucki and his wife, Ryann, Rebecca Prawlucki, Tara Seyffert Arko and her husband, Tyler, and Bryce, Andrew and Jillian Seyffert; four great-grandchildren, Anastasia and James Styer and Emerson and Payton Prawlucki; and many nieces, nephews and friends. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by a brother, Richard Small.

The family would like to express their gratitude to the dedicated and compassionate staff at Harbor Point in Centerville for the care they gave Pat during the last year of her life.

A Funeral Mass and celebration of her life will be held at a future date, when it is safe for family and friends to gather.

As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the MSPCA Cape Cod, 1577 Falmouth Rd., Centerville, MA 02632 or the Walk to End Alzheimers - Cape Cod, Team Seyffert.
