Priscilla (Marsh) George,  90, of South Yarmouth, MA, formerly of Somerset, MA, passed away at home on Wednesday, February 24, 2021.  Born in Fall River, MA on  December 12, 1930, she was the daughter of Alfred and Mabel Marsh. She graduated from Somerset High School and received her B.S. in Education in 1953 from Fitchburg State College, combined with the five year nursing program.
 
 Priscilla  married the love of her life, Harrison W. George, Jr. shortly after graduation.  They had three children and were happily married for almost thirty years.  She worked as a nurse, teacher and social worker.  She was an active, longtime member and volunteer of West Yarmouth Congregational Church.  She had a passion for knitting, quilting and any medium that could explore her love of color.  Priscilla enjoyed many seasons with her “captain” Harry sailing out of Lewis Bay and Bass River.  She treasured times spent with her family. 

In addition to her parents, Priscilla was preceded in death by her husband, Harrison W. George Jr., her brother, Robert Marsh, and her daughter-in-law, Eileen F. George.

She leaves behind a daughter, Linda E. (George) Pine and her husband, Ron of Fairfield, CT, a son, Peter A. George of Ipswich, MA and his partner, Nancy Campanella Smith of Needham, MA and a daughter, Diane (George) Carbone and her husband, Jeff of Winchester, MA; and  her grandchildren, Melissa L. Oliver and her husband, Cory, Amanda L. Tarsi and her husband, Matt, Kimberly D. Pine and her partner, Christopher Smith, Kaitlin Smith and her husband, Steve, Erin Milligan and her husband, Eric, Ted Carbone and Drew Carbone.  She is also survived by seven great grand children and several nieces and nephews.

Interment will be private and a celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
