Arline Josephine (Curcio) Falls, 82, of Cummaquid, formerly of Hingham, MA passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her family. She was the beloved wife of the late Edwin J. Falls and daughter of the late Charles and Lena Curcio of Yarmouth Port.

Arline was born in Brooklyn NY, raised in Elmont, NY and attended Sewanhaka High School. She and her husband Ed were married for 53 years and loved family, food and travel together. Arline enjoyed exercising at the Yarmouth Senior Center and volunteering at the Thrift Shop at the First Congregational Church of Yarmouthport. She made friends wherever she went.

Arline loved living near historic Rt. 6A for the scenic drives and most recently seeing the tulips in bloom this spring. She loved walking the boardwalk at Gray’s Beach with her daughters, attending her grandchildren’s special events and mostly recently having lunch by the water at Corporation Beach.

Arline is survived by her daughter, Carolyn Selinger and her son, Shane Selinger of Cummaquid; her daughter, Laura Chambers and her husband, Jim of Wareham and their daughters, Marisa of Worcester and Emily of Fall River; her daughter, Lynda Bassett and her husband, Dave of Norwood; and her brother Charles Curcio of Malverne, NY.

The family would like to send a special thank you to Beacon Hospice of Hyannis for their kind and loving care for Arline. In memory of Arline’s life, the family asks that any charitable donations be made to: Beacon Palliative Care, Amedisys Foundation, 68 Center Street, Suite 19, Hyannis, MA 02601. A private family burial was held at the Massachusetts National Cemetery.
