Margaret Ann (Flores) Moran of Yarmouth Port and Naples, FL passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, Sunday July 18, 2021, after a valiant battle with cancer.

Known to her family as Peggy, she was the beloved wife of 55 years and best friend of Robert J. Moran.

Born in Fall River, Peggy was the daughter of the late Henry C. and Mary (Finglis) Flores. She graduated from Regis College with a degree in psychology and art. She combined her love of art and dedication to the field of education by becoming an elementary school art teacher, where she provided many young children an artistic outlet to foster their creativity.

Peggy was a longtime resident of Easton and taught in the Easton Public Schools for over 30 years.

After retiring, she enjoyed watercolor painting on the Cape. She was an avid reader, loved to travel and particularly enjoyed cooking and entertaining her family. She will be tremendously missed and will be remembered for always providing support and love to her family and friends.

Peggy was the proud mother of two daughters, Mary Smith and her husband, Michael, and Susie Rindini and her husband, Robert. She was also “Ammie” to five beautiful grandchildren, Caleigh, Joey, Shannon, Jack and Meghan. Peggy’s greatest love was her family and her beloved dog Rosie.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday July 22 in St. Pius X Church, Station Ave., South Yarmouth.

Interment will be private.

As an expression of sympathy, her family asks that memorial donations be made to Cape Cod Hospital, where she received wonderful care and support during her illness.

I send my deepest and heartfelt sympathies to Bob and Peggy's family. Peggy was one of the kindest, nicest, lovely people I have ever met. She embodied grace and poise. We shared a name and that was always special. The earthly world has lost an angel but Heaven is a little brighter now. I will miss you Peggy.
