Dear Karen and family! Your mom was a special lady and I felt like she was also a good friend. Her Thursday noon time spots I miss seeing her. We’d always catch up on her family and mine.. but one of her wishes was to be with your dad again and I told her when I last saw her that Ollie was waiting for her. And I’m sure she got there by 5 o’clock. All he was waiting as they say.” it’s 5 o’clock somewhere.” Hugs Joan her hairdresser

Dear Karen and family, My heart is saddened by the news of the passing of your dear mother, Barbara. I got to know her while babysitting in the nursery at Brewster Baptist church. We had many wonderful chats. I learned she was from Dayton and I from Cincinnati. She was a very wise, special woman. I feel blessed to have known her. All my love and prayers to you all. Barbara was such a special lady. She welcomed me to Plover when we moved in afew years ago. We leaned on one another when our husbands died at about the same time. When she moved to the main building at Thirwood we began playing bridge together. She was always beautifully dressed. Her bridge skills and knowledge far exceeded ours and she graciously brought us up to speed. She was so so kind and always smiling. My heart is heavy as I miss her. I am happy knowing she is with her beloved Ollie again. My condolences to her family members.
