Stephen Michael LeBaron

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Stephen Michael LeBaron on January 9, 2026, at the age of 77. Born on May 2, 1948 in Junction City, Kansas, Stephen lived a life filled with love, hard work, and dedication to his family and friends.

Stephen spent his entire career in construction, where he took great pride in building and creating. His craftsmanship and work ethic were admired by all who knew him. Outside of work, Stephen enjoyed building intricate models and had a passion for collecting firearms. He loved sharing his knowledge and opinions with others, always eager to teach, learn, and connect through meaningful conversations.

Stephen is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Jean LeBaron; his children Michael LeBaron and his wife Kari LeBaron, Danielle LeBaron and her partner Adele McCabe, and Jason LeBaron; his grandchildren Chase LeBaron, Morgan LeBaron, Aiden LeBaron, and Mia LeBaron; and his siblings, Nancy and Bart Kiley, Tina and Dick Jalbert, Marybeth and Mike Mallia, and Justin LeBaron, along with many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Shirley LeBaron.
 
Stephen will be remembered for his unwavering work ethic, exceptional creativity in his craftsmanship, spending time with family and friends, and his generosity in helping friends and neighbors.

Family and friends are invited to gather and honor Stephen’s memory at a celebration of life on Saturday, January 17, 2026 from 1:00 – 4:00 P.M. at Hallett Funeral Home, 273 Station Ave., South Yarmouth, MA 02664. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to duffyhealthcenter.org
