Joan Patricia Ahari formerly of Dennis, MA passed away at the age of 93 on May 16, 2023. She is predeceased by her loving husband Saeed Ahari and son Keyan Ahari. She is survived by her children Kameran Ahari and his wife Leslie, Amir Ahari and his wife Kathy, Heideh Ahari and her husband Bill Schifone and four wonderful grandchildren Adam, Nick, Zach and Mark.

Joan was a graduate of St. Elizabeth’s School of nursing, she was a passionate volunteer for NAMI and a court advocate for Independence House on Cape Cod. She cherished her life on Cape Cod –its beautiful sunsets, beaches and kind people.

We will miss her dearly.

A visitation will be held from 9am to 10 am on Thursday, May 25, 2023, at Hallett Funeral Home 273 Station Ave, South Yarmouth. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11am at Our Lady of the Cape Parish 68 Stony Brook Rd, Brewster. Interment will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery.
