Webb, Frances Hope (Hallett) died at home in Dennis on November 23, 2023 at the age of 82. Fran was the daughter of the late Norman A. and Hope (Crowell) Hallett.  She is survived by her longtime partner, Robert Kaull, her daughter, Sara (Webb) Quest, son-in-law, Jason Quest and their daughter, Ayla Quest.  Also surviving are her sisters, Faith A. Hallett and Norma Charity Burton.  Fran was much loved by her nieces and nephews: Stephanie Starr, Jeremy Burton, Joshua Burton, Michael Ferro and Natalie Ferro.
 
Born in Hyannis, Fran grew up in Dennis, attending Dennis schools and graduating from Dennis-Yarmouth Regional High School in 1959.  She went on to graduate from Chamberlain School of Retailing in Boston and eventually New England Institute of Funeral Directing and Embalming. Early on she was employed at the Museum of Science in Boston but in 1977 she returned to Cape Cod to join the family business, Hallett Funeral Home.
 
Family and friends are invited to call at the Hallett Funeral Home, 273 Station Ave., South Yarmouth on Saturday, December 2, 2023 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.with a memorial service at 3:00 p.m.  Interment will be private.
 
 

I am so sorry to learn of my neighbor, Fran, passing. Always a wave or “hello” when we saw each other. Fran was always willing to participate in any of our projects…she will be missed. My sympathies to Bob and her daughter.
