She was a loving and compassionate wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Many of her traits have been passed on to her family and will continue to live on with them.
She graduated from Dover High School in 1964, attended McIntosh College in New Hampshire and worked at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, Weymouth Naval Air Station and Otis Air Force Base before starting a day care business in Yarmouth Port which spanned 40 years. Many children passed through her doors. She was a second mom to so many kids. Many of them still kept in touch and brought their children to meet the woman that had such an impact on their lives in so many ways.
She will forever be remembered for her love of home, family, Cape Cod, Vero Beach and the friends that she made wherever she went. Everyone she met she made them feel like family. Boating, gardening, walking the beach to collect beach glass, sitting by the pool, hosting so many gatherings for family and friends, including the infamous Friday pizza nights were dear to her heart. She loved going for rides in the classic cars restored by her beloved husband, David.
Dale was a member of the Friday Club of Yarmouth Port, the Red Hats Society and Cape Cod Classics. She touched so many lives with her love and compassion and will be greatly missed for the smile on her face.
