Johanna R. Perry, aged 79, passed away peacefully on January 16, 2025, surrounded by family. Johanna was born in 1945 in Brooklyn, New York. A long-time resident of Cape Cod who loved the ocean and spending time on the beach, Johanna was a loving wife and mother. She cherished her family above all else. Her sense of humor, quick wit, and penchant for sarcasm brought laughter to her loved ones and will be sorely missed.

Johanna graduated high school and earned accreditation as a professional hairdresser. Later she worked for AmEx as a data entry specialist but considered her true calling to be her family. She moved to Dennis and raised two sons as a strong and devoted mother and homemaker who always placed family above all else.

Johanna is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Robert Perry, their son Christopher Perry, daughter-in-law Kathryn Perry, and grandson Calvin Perry, her daughter-in-law Deborah Perry, granddaughter Allyson Perry, her brother Sal Bernardo, and her lifelong best friend, Julia Biscaino. Johanna is predeceased by her son Robert S. Perry, her brother Steve Bernardo, and her parents Stefano and Jennie Bernardo.

Visitation will be held from 9:00am to 11:00am on Saturday, February 8, 2025, at Hallett Funeral Home, 273 Station Ave., Yarmouth, MA. A celebration of Johanna’s life will follow at 11:00am in Hallett Funeral Home.
