Priscilla (Sears) White of South Yarmouth, MA passed away peacefully at her home on May 14, 2025, surrounded by love and laughter.
Born on April 18, 1948, Priscilla Lee Sears was the beloved daughter of Marguerite A. (Baker) Sears and John G. Sears, Jr.
Priscilla graduated from Dennis-Yarmouth Regional High School in 1966. Throughout her life, she was a secretary, business owner, and author. An 11th-generation Cape Codder, she took great pride in spending her entire life in Yarmouth. As a passionate genealogist, she possessed a deep knowledge of the town’s history and its descendants.
She was first married to Randolph O. Cash (deceased), and later to George M. White, who predeceased her on May 2, 2020. Together, she and George built a beautiful life and created cherished memories for their family and friends.
She is survived by her daughter, Melissa (Cash) Jaques and her husband, Bill; her grandsons, Will Jaques and his wife, Emmy, along with their children, Savannah, Raegan, and Jakobi; Brandon Jaques and his wife, KaSara, along with their children, Kayden, Amelia, and Silas, as well as granddaughter,Taylor Jaques. She is also survived by her brother, Stephen and his wife, Paula, as well as many cherished nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, John G. Sears III.
A graveside service will be held at a later date. In honor of Priscilla… take a stroll, breathe in the fragrance of the flowers, and listen to the song of the birds.
