Rino “Joe” Giolito passed away peacefully on May 19, 2025, after a courageous journey with Alzheimer’s. Born in Brooklyn, NY, Joe later made his home in Cummaquid, MA, following many wonderful years in New Jersey and Vermont.
He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Mary, his daughter Peg, his son Robert and grandchildren, Ciera and Jerry as well as his niece, nephew, and many cousins. He was predeceased by his parents, Carmela and John, and his sister Gloria.
 
Joe enjoyed a long career with Ciba Geigy and later found joy in real estate during retirement. Known for his warmth, friendliness and gift for conversation, he made friends wherever he went. He loved his family, gardening, car shows, especially showcasing his Cadillacs.  He served faithfully at his church as a eucharistic minister and parish council member.
 
Relatives and friends are invited to call at the Hallett Funeral Home, 273 Station Ave., South Yarmouth, MA on Monday, June 2, 2025 from 4-6 p.m. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on June 3, 2025 at 10 a.m. at Saint Pius X Church, Station Ave., South Yarmouth.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made  to the Alzheimer's Association.
