Diane A. Dulkie
May 29th, 2025
Diane A. Dulkie, 80, of West Yarmouth, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully with her immediate family by her side on Thursday, May 29, 2025, at Cape Cod Hospital.
Diane is survived by her beloved sons: Timothy R. Dulkie and his fiancée, Linda M. Dorsey, of Rochester, MA; and Jeffrey P. Dulkie and his fiancée, Melinda Carey, of West Yarmouth, MA. She is also lovingly remembered by Linda’s son, Kyle R. Manning, who affectionately nicknamed her “Gam Gam”—a name that many came to know and love her by.
Originally from Falmouth, MA, Diane met and married the love of her life, Joseph Dulkie. Together, they made their home in West Yarmouth, where they planted roots over 40 years ago.
Diane spent more than 35 years working on Cape Cod, most notably at Marshalls, where she took great joy in greeting customers and lending a helping hand. Known for her outgoing nature, Diane never met a stranger—she could strike up a conversation with anyone and brighten their day. She retired four years ago due to a courageous battle with dementia.
A true lover of the outdoors, Diane was rarely found inside. Whether she was picking up sticks, pulling weeds, or planting in her yard, she found peace and purpose in nature. She also had a deep love for the sea and cherished long walks on the beach.
Diane’s warmth, energy, and love for life will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Visiting hours will be held on June 4, 2025, between 5:00 – 7:00 pm At Hallett Funeral Home, 273 Station Avenue, South Yarmouth Ma.
