Iain Michael MacArthur, 52 , passed away on  May 30, 2025 in Florida, surrounded by his family. He was the husband of  Christine   (Williamson) MacArthur and son of Laurence and Patricia (Moloney) MacArthur. Iain was born at Cape Cod Hospital and spent the first 50 years of his life on Cape Cod. The last two years of his life were spent in Florida at his dream home on the lake with his wife and two sons.

Iain was a graduate of Dennis-Yarmouth Regional High School, the class of 1990. Following graduation he worked for Christmas Tree Shops where he found a love of driving and obtained his CDL license. He later found joy in working for Shepley Wood Products, taking his Jack Russell, Jake, to work with him every day.  Later he became the owner of A & E. Forms.

His favorite pastime was hanging out at home in the “mancave”.  He loved having family and friends over.  If the garage door was open, they were always welcome.

One of his greatest accomplishments was winning Hot Rod Magazine Top Speed Challenge in the Super Street Class driving Bill Amaral’s “Death Proof” Camaro in Wilmington, Ohio in 2015 with a top speed of 221 MPH.  He loved the sound of loud engines.  His one request before he passed was to make sure there is plenty of loud bikes and vehicles at his celebration of life.  Please honor his request.

Iain is survived by his wife, Christine MacArthur, his three children, Kayla Robinson and her husband Curtis, and Christopher MacArthur and Nicholas MacArthur.  Also surviving are: his mother, Patricia A. MacArthur, his sister Neeley Martin and her husband Sean, his brother Keith MacArthur, his sister Lauren Amster and her husband Michael, his sister, Autumn Collette and his grandchildren, Emmett and Everly Robinson and niece and nephews.

His three treasured dogs, Brodi, Kenzi and Axel remain in the care of his wife, Christine and sons.

Relatives and friends are invited to call at the Hallett Funeral Home, 273 Station Ave., South Yarmouth, MA on Friday, June 27, 2025 from 4 – 7 P.M. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, June 28, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. in the First Congregational Church of Yarmouth, Route 6A in Yarmouth Port, MA.  Interment in West Dennis Cemetery, Fisk Street, West Dennis, MA will be private.
