To all of the Lane family, especially Paul, Grace and Paul Michael, my heart goes out to everyone. Even though I have not seen Debbie for several years, I will always remember her infectious smile, warm heart and the fact that she was always happy! Moments like this push us to realize how short this journey is, Debbie was obviously too young to leave all of you, yet I know she will continue to watch over all of you with her enormous loving heart. I am sorry I was not able to join today to celebrate Debbie's life with all of you, I can only hope our paths may cross again someday (especially you Sue, it has been way too long)! Take care, Karen Osborn

My heart aches. Just seeing Debbie's bright smile lights up any room. I can hear her infectious laugh and my heart is filled with joy again - though tears run down my face, I smile. Debbie was amazing! She had a huge heart. Though the last decade or so took us each to new adventures I can happily call her my live long friend and break out to sing our song, rap, rap, rap they called us the "wrappers". Love you and will miss you always! Susan

Debbie was one of a kind. She was such a welcoming person. She was funny, kind, positive, and loving. When I think of her, I immediately smile. Myself, my husband-Kieran, and my children-Kristen Meyer and Kayla Fahy provide our sincere condolences. We are so glad that we knew her. We enjoyed being with her so much. We will always think of her with fondness.

Debbie was part of the fabric of Elizabeth Seton Residence - and truly an advocate for the residents who lived here. They loved her kindness, compassion, infectious laugh, and willingness to just spend time when someone needed a bit of TLC. She was truly in her element when bringing residents out to our courtyard garden, and couldn't resist doing a bit of pruning or weeding while she chatted with them and pointed out the various plantings while enjoying the outdoors. She was always a good sport, dressing up in various costumes to celebrate events and holidays to the delight of all! Debbie started working with us in 2008 and retired in 2022, touching many lives along the way. As I mentioned, having worked here 25 years, I remember Deb very fondly as one of our long-time employees and a wonderful colleague. I missed her presence here upon her retirement, but was very pleased she was able to spend family time on the Cape. Condolences to you and your family on the loss of such an amazing woman.

For each and every life there is a beginning and an end. Last week Debbie received the devastating diagnosis that her life would be soon coming to an end. Never before have I witnessed someone find such inner strength. She handled herself with extreme grace, deep and resounding courage, along with an unwavering faith in God. For those who loved her, especially Paul James, Grace Suzanne, Paul Michael and his wife, Julie Elizabeth, she guided them with a pure heart and steadfast commitment that she was being called above to do greater things. God certainly has wrapped his arms around her, and those of us left behind will never forget Debbie, who she was, and the lessons learned from such extreme human strength and dignity in an impossible situation. I will love you and honor your memory all the days of my life. Sister Sue
