Therese "Terry" (Bastille) Fredette passed away peacefully on October 1st, after a brief illness.  Terry was born in Bridgeport, CT on May 31, 1932.  She was the daughter of Fenelon and Blanch Bastille and the youngest of her two siblings, Phillip Bastille and Rita Heon.  Terry was predeceased by her beloved husband, Fred.  Terry met Fred, at Otis Air Force Base where she was an administrative assistant.  As a young mother, she worked at The Limited Group USA.  Terry and Fred raised their family in Dedham, MA and eventually retired to Cape Cod.  They enjoyed many fun-filled times on the Cape, boating on Bass River, walking the Cape Cod beaches and biking on the Cape Cod Rail Trails.  Being adventuresome, Terry and Fred loved to travel.  They enjoyed voyages to Europe and to many Caribbean islands.  
 
Terry's love of work and learning continued throughout her life.  She enjoyed reading, friendly bridge games, playing Bocce with friends, golfing, board games, gardening and was a long-standing member of the St. Pius X Ladies Society.   Terry also enjoyed being an usher at the Cape Cod Symphony and Cape Cod Playhouse.
 
Terry is survived by her children, Robert, and his wife Stefanie, of Yarmouth Port, MA.  Richard and his wife, Sharon, of Bedford, NH and her three grandchildren, Ryan, his wife Julie, Kevin and Lauren.  Her nieces and nephews were very special to her, as well as her sisters-in-law, Pauline and Rose.
 
Family and friends are welcome to a funeral Mass at Saint Pius X Church, Station Ave., South Yarmouth on Friday, October 24 at 11:00.  In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to a charity of your choice.
