Claude R. Corriveau, 90, of Cummaquid, MA passed away on December 12th.

Claude was born in Stornoway, Quebec on June 29, 1935. He emigrated from Canada to Springfield, MA in 1966. He was sent to Cape Cod for work and quickly fell in love with it, moving his family there in 1970. He worked on the Cape as a builder for more than 40 years.

Claude is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Lucille (Lagace), brothers Germain (Paquerette), and Julien, sisters Raymonde and Gervaise, his children Linda (Mark), Cindy, and Stephanie (Gregg), grandchildren Nicholas, Michael, Megan and Sara. He is preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Marie-Reine (Bureau) Corriveau and siblings Pauline, Marcel, Laureanne, Louiselle, Carmelle, and Guy.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 3rd from 9:00 to 10:30 AM at Hallett Funeral Home, 273 Station Avenue South Yarmouth, MA. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday January 3rd at 11:00 AM at St. Pius X Church, 5 Barbara Street, South Yarmouth, MA. Burial will follow at Mosswood Cemetery, 280 Putman Avenue, Cotuit, MA. “In lieu of flowers please make donations to st Jude children’s hospital”.
