Margaret Rose Violet and Francis Edward Violet

Margaret Rose Violet and Francis Edward Violet passed away three weeks apart, their journey together continuing eternally after a lifetime shared side by side.
Margaret and Francis shared a devoted marriage of 55 years, building a life together defined by their enduring love for family, a shared appreciation for nature, and a strong sense of values. Their partnership was the foundation of their family and an example of commitment, devotion, and love.. They shared a life in North Attleboro, Plymouth, and retired on Cape Cod.
Margaret Rose Violet, 81, of South Yarmouth, passed away peacefully on December 16, 2025. She was born on May 20, 1944, in Springfield, Massachusetts, to Rose and Oliver Huot. Margaret was predeceased by her parents and loving sister, Maureen White. Margaret grew up in Chicopee and graduated from Sacred Heart High School. She later pursued a career in sales, where her warmth, professionalism, and personable nature welcomed all those that knew her. She later moved to North Attleboro where she began her life with Francis. Margaret found her greatest joy in spending time with her family. She was a devoted wife, mother, aunt, and grandmother. She loved traveling, taking walks, crafting, and appreciating life’s simple moments. Her humble spirit, kindness, and loving presence was enjoyed by all.
Francis Edward Violet, 80, of South Yarmouth, passed away peacefully on January 12, 2026. He was born on April 20, 1945, in Providence, Rhode Island to Maria and James Violet. He was predeceased by his parents and his cherished brother, Henry Violet. Francis graduated from Cranston High School. He then went on to attend Roger Williams College before proudly serving in the United States Air Force from 1965 - 1969.
Francis spent his career as an air traffic controller, working many years at Logan International Airport before continuing his career at Hyannis Airport, where he retired. He was known for his dedication, calm demeanor, and personable nature. Francis was always eager to learn and share stories that reflected a lifelong quest for knowledge. He enjoyed golfing, cooking. football, and was an enthusiastic Patriots fan. Above all, Francis was a devoted husband, father, uncle, and grandfather who treasured the life he shared with Margaret.
Margaret and Francis are survived by their beloved son and daughter-in-law, Kevin and Mary Violet of Yarmouth Port, and by their two granddaughters, Addison and Chloe Violet, whom they adored and cherished beyond words. They are also survived by many devoted and loving nieces and nephews. Their legacy of love, family, and devotion will live on through those they leave behind.
Together, they built a life rooted in deep love, partnership, and shared adventure. As husband and wife, they were devoted to their family, finding their greatest joy in time spent together with those they loved most. They shared a love of traveling and the outdoors, whether exploring new places, enjoying nature’s quiet beauty in New Hampshire, or creating lasting memories with their granddaughters on family Disney trips. They cherished the simple joys of life, spending time together cooking at home and enjoying the peace of their home and Cape Cod beaches. Their marriage was defined by mutual respect, laughter, and unwavering support, and their bond was an example of commitment and companionship. The legacy they leave behind lives on in the memories they created, the values they shared, and the family who will forever carry their love forward.
