Robert L. Rafferty, 79, of Dennis, passed away peacefully at Regal Care of Harwich on January 26, 2026. He was born in Malden, MA to the late Thomas P. and Alice E. Rafferty.

Robert was a veteran of the United States Air Force, proudly serving his country. He was an avid sports fan, especially the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots. He was also quite the bowler. Robert was also a communicant of Saint Pius X Church in South Yarmouth.

He is survived by his brother, Thomas J. Rafferty and his wife Maria of Dartmouth, MA. He also leaves behind several nephews and a niece as well as three great-nieces. Robert was also the brother of the late William J. Rafferty and his wife Barbara of Portsmouth, RI.

Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, at 11:00am at Saint Pius X Catholic Church, Station Ave., South Yarmouth. Interment will follow at the Massachusetts National Cemetery.
