Michael Peter Sarowsky passed away February 2nd at 78 years old. He was Born in Salem, Massachusetts on March 23, 1947 to Helen and Peter Sarowsky.

Following his graduation from the University of Massachusetts he moved to Dennis Port where he found his love for photography, shooting landscapes for 20 years throughout the Cape with his company, North Light Studios. Throughout that time, he always had a love for plants and flowers and by 1997 he found sobriety and established his own business. He became a certified Massachusetts horticulturist and master gardener, as well as a rosarian. He remarried in 1997 to Kim Sarowsky and traveled the world for thirty years with her. They loved going to Maine as well as traveling to St. Croix every winter.

He is survived by his wife Kim, sons Christopher and Louis, daughter Maria, and stepdaughters Kim Kokkotos and Sarah Henderson. He was a loving grandfather to Grace and Walter Kokkotos, Kaitlin and Ryan Dorsey, and Talia Levine-Sarowsky. Also survived by his sister Roberta Coviello and her husband Charlie. He passed away peacefully with his family by his side.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Trinity Church in Harwich on Tuesday Feb 10 at 11am. In lieu of flowers, memorials in his name can be made to the Cape Cod family pantry.
