Pamela Alice (Morton) Sarkinen, 79 of West Yarmouth, MA passed away on April 16, 2026 at Cape Cod Hospital after a short diligent fight.
 
Pam was born on June 18, 1946 in Acushnet, MA to Alice and Frederick Morton.  They moved to West Yarmouth in 1960 where Pam attended and graduated from Dennis-Yarmouth Regional High School, class of 1964.  She worked in various capacities with the public, starting as a movie clerk at the old Cinema 28, then moving to Puritan Clothing, selling Avon on the side and finally to Angelo’s Super Market where she retired after much rebranding to what is now Shaw’s.
 
Pam was a sweet, generous and kind woman who made everyone feel like family; a beloved mother and cherished friend.
 
Pam is survived by her two children; son Frederick Sarkinen and his wife Apryl and daughter Tonya Sarkinen.  She is also survived by her granddaughter Ashlee as well as many nieces and nephews.
 
Family and friends are invited to call at the Hallett Funeral Home, 273 Station Ave., South Yarmouth, MA on Sunday, April 26 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M.   A graveside service will be held on Monday April 27, 2026 at 11:00 A.M. in Vine Hills Cemetery, Plymouth, MA. Friends and relatives are invited to attend.
 
The family kindly requests that contributions in her memory be made to a local animal rescue.
