Patricia Ann Walker of Brewster/Dennis passed away peacefully on May 6 at home with family
members around her.
 
Patricia, an adventurous spirit with a profound sense of integrity, propelled and guided her life
in this reality.  A strong commitment to diversity led to her being named one of 125 leaders in the Commonwealth by the Women’s Union of Boston in 2002.  A ranked tennis singles player in New England, Patricia was a voracious reader, a midnight piano player, and award-winning tapestry artist.
She loved the sea and a clear horizon whether from the shore, a sailboat or a parachute. A loyal friend, she was always there when needed.  (She’ll be there in her new home, Cathedral of Cape Cod Bay, and believe me this woman can keep a secret).
 
Her diverse employment and willingness to travel the globe was proof of her adventurous spirit and
curious mind.
 
To “Us” she was an artist, an author, a mentor, a coach, and sometimes a lighthouse in a storm.
 
Patricia was predeceased by her parents Joseph P. Walker and Alice (Ellis) Walker, both of Dennis.
Eldest of a cherished Irish family she is survived by her siblings; Mary Jo Everson of East Dennis, Joseph and Annie Walker of Dennis, Daniel Walker of Lyme, Connecticut, nephews; Todd Everson, Mike Walker, and Ben Walker, nieces; Bryn Walker, Kelley Nocella, Molly Walker, great nephews; Jacob and Owen Everson, Logan Walker, cousins; Gail Poupolo, Kevin Maher, Carole Bell, Brian Maher (deceased) and
Irish cousins; the Bohane, Leonard, Nealon and Courtney families of West Cork, Ireland.
 
 A celebration of her life will be held this summer.  Details will be announced in June via Patricia’s facebook page or www.anniescrannies.com.
 
Burial will be private.  Contributions in her memory may be made to DY Dolphin Fund, c/o DYRHS,
